For parents
Watch, listen and talk together
You can watch a story together, or let your child discover it independently when they are ready. Sometimes a story is simply a pleasant moment. Sometimes it helps you talk about something that is on your child's mind.
Extra guidance when you want it
Some stories include additional guidance for parents. It explains the theme behind the story and offers ideas for exploring it at home in a simple way. This extra layer is always optional.
A story can create a little distance
A child does not always need to talk about themselves straight away. It can be easier to begin with what Hare, Mouse or Hedgehog is experiencing. A conversation about the child's own experience may follow naturally.
Connection before explanation
When feelings become very big, calm presence often helps before explanations do. A child does not have to carry their inner world alone. Words are usually easier to find once there is a little more calm.
